I think it all boils down to two things that really stop people from meditating:
(1) there is a huge misconception that continues to be put forward by waaaaay too many people that meditation is a rigid, uncomfortable practice that to really do you need to dedicate hours to it & become very monk-like.
Ummm I could not be further from being a monk if I tried and I think 99% of the “rules” out there on meditation are total BS. I don’t spend hours a day doing this stuff. I don’t wear white robes. I don’t burn incense. I don’t clear my mind. Blah, blah, blah... I do my own thing and it works.
(2) meditation is a practice, meaning it’s going to feel weird for a bit until you get it. Your mind will still be noisy. You’ll wonder 10,000 times if you’re doing it right. You’ll get antsy and be ready to be done.
And then one day it’ll happen.
One day you’ll hit the sweet spot and it will be such a cool feeling, you’ll want it again. And again. And again.
When you’re ready to start, call me.
