Infrared Sauna Wraps to Manage Pain


Imagine this: you’re wearing your comfiest clothes and we’ve laid out a sleeping bag for you to get in to. You slip your legs in and immediately feel enveloped in its warmth. As you lay back the heat feels incredible on your back and your aching muscles. You can’t help but close your eyes and nestle in as your whole body relaxes and you let the gradual, radiant heat wash over you.

We love using our far-infrared sauna wraps to manage generalized muscle and joint pain. This wavelength can penetrate deeply to help your cells start the healing process while the heat eases tension. This is a fantastic option for recovery days. We also find it feels nice when you are not feeling well and your whole body feels a bit achy. (Note: we can even lower the temperature so you don't sweat intensely but still get the benefits of the light and the heat.)


In one study, researchers found that patients who were hospitalized for chronic pain and had 15 minutes of far-infrared sauna therapy five days weekly for four weeks exhibited diminished pain behaviors and had statistically lower anger scores. A two-year followup revealed that 77 percent of the sauna group had been able to return to work, compared to only 50 percent of the non-sauna group. (Here is link to that report.)
